There's a new option on games: now you can choose whether you want your game to be listed in the main areas of the site or not. And the default is "not", so if you've made a game in the past and would like it listed, please edit it to explicitly choose so.

Its somewhat similar to how in youtube you can make your videos "public" or "private".

Three reasons why I did this:

1.- I figure some people will be more comfortable with the trial and error process if they know their every move is not being broadcasted to everyone on the site.

2.- Most games at the moment are WIP, and most WIPs at the moment are very barren; it looks bad. (Its another topic, but this is my fault: I obviously didn't make good enough training materials to carry people past their point of initial commitment)

3.- Some people may not want a large audience for their games; rather just a group of handpicked people they can email the URL to.

Now, this is not exactly the same as youtube's "private" feature, because in youtube, if a video is made private there is positively no way to play it -at all- unless you're in the author's handpicked list. Here, there're still some ways to reach a video that's been (and this is a better term) "delisted":

1.- You can click on the author's name and see it under "Games I've Made"

2.- You can click on someone who has played that game and see it under "Games I've Played".

3.- You can have a bookmark or a link to the game, or maybe it was embedded somewhere.

"De-listing" a game does just that: it takes it out of the front page and game listings, as well as the "The Latest Posts" column (going forward), but it doesn't prevent the game itself from being playable by anyone who manages to get there.

I figured its an okay compromise between privacy and exposure.

As usual, all feedback is welcome! :)
