Description :
The last thing you remember was seeing the shadow in the backseat of your car as you drove home from work last night, then the sudden prick of a needle entering the skin of your neck. When you came to, you were lying on your back, staring up at an unfamiliar ceiling. As you came to your senses, you saw that you were in an abandoned prison, and there were others with you. People you used to know, friends from high school. They had similar experiences, and nobody knew why you were there now. The only thing anybody could think of to do was try to escape...

Very interested!
Please oh please don't let this fall through! Read the tutorial, and if you need help don't hesitate to ask; out of the hundreds of work in progress games here, this one seems soo very promising!
I plan to live forever. So far, so good!
Thanks
Hey, thanks... Not to disappoint you but I'm downgrading to a less ambitious project for the moment, haha. I'll try to get the other one going once I know my way around the engine a bit more. Also, this is my first attempt at anything like this and I'm having trouble finding good resources. Is it illegal for me to use other people's digital art for my own game, and if not, are there any good sites with people in different poses that I could steal? I would take my own photos, but I don't have a camera or a car, so I'm pretty limited in that regard.
Sounds good!
Not disappointed at all unless you give up entirely; the engine should be easy enough but I'm here to help :)
Re: resources, I would recommend using something like Garry's Mod, or Poser, or Daz 3D which is free. You can pose your 3d models any way you want, export the images out, maybe do a little photoshopping, then host the pics either in photobucket or imgur or some other free service, or, if you expect your game to be very popular, your own server.
Using other people's art is not always illegal; some people give it away under a Creative Commons license, depending on the exact type of the license, most times all you have to do is give them credit back. Also, if you're feeling brave, you can re purpose their work under Fair Use.
Have fun, can't wait to see what you come up with :)

Hey
Hey, I finally came up with a loose plot and locations, but I'm having some trouble with certain things on the engine, namely trying to get my music and sound effects to loop. Is there anything that needs to be written in the sound effect field in scene options to make the music loop?
Also, is there any way to have two or three audio tracks playing at the same time, so I can have ambient noise and ambient music?
Last but not least, are there any sources online for good swf animations? I'd like to use a gun or a knife in one scene. Something like the Scav3ng3r gun, but that shoots regular bullets.
Sound effects!
I can make the music loop, its just a line of code. I'm planning to release a new version by the end of this week; I'll make sure to include this for you.
I'm debating whether to have two soundtracks at the same time or not... on the one hand it may help people like you who need them, on the other hand it will put a tiny more tax on the processing times... hmm.... but listen, there's a workaround no matter what: put the ambient sound in an swf, and then make -that- loop. Actually, using this method you can have an unlimited number of soundtracks all looping.
There are some sites like flashkit.com that have a lot of swfs you can download (I don't think they allow hotlinking to them directly), but I've never seen anything as specific as a first person gun or knife. Not impossible though! Give that site a try.
Worst case scenario: take a screenshot from your favorite FPS game, load it in photoshop or equivalent and crop out everything but the hand; save as a transparent PNG. If you want animation repeat that process for as many frames as you need, then assemble the frames in flash and make an SWF, that's exactly how I built the scav3ng3r gun.
Don't give up! :)
