The FableForge Game Engine allows anyone with a certain level of motivation to create his/her own Game Stories and share them with world via this website.

The gameplay is very simple: the player is presented with a panning-image to represent a location, and through point-and-click is able to interact with various items in it. New interactions become unlocked depending on the player's choices, and so the story progresses towards its end.

Though all games are roughly linear -requiring all players to hit more or less the same milestones in more or less the same order- there is no limit to the variety of paths a Designer can offer towards any same objective. Interactions are typically supplemented by text descriptions; making this game ideal for people with literary affinity.

In addition to the core "choose your own adventure" gameplay style, it is possible to implement dexterity-based challenges through the use of moving items, and time-based challenges through the use of timers.

Games are stored, edited and launched from this website, though all materials (including ideas, concepts and liabilities) belong to their respective owners.
